About Us
Yarn and Yield is born from a dream by the current custodians of a magnificent property in West Woombye on the Sunshine Coast. They purchased the property in 2019 with the intention of creating opportunities for community benefit. Many asked ‘what does community benefit look like?” The answer was, “we are not sure what it looks like, but the land speaks to helping people”. Now is the time to create opportunities with the community for the land to deliver benefits to our local community.
PURPOSE
We exist to create a regenerative community for the benefit of current and future generations.

Build a cooperative that co-creates activities that benefit the community on land secured in a community land trust.

Build a network of cooperatives and community land trusts so communities across Australia can grow together for their communities benefit.
